Quick update on life...

Well, Mr. Pierson has yet another tooth--the one on top left, next to the center one. And the boy GRINDS his teeth! I swear it sounds like he's gonna break one off when he does it! I hope he's just doing it because of the other teeth bothering him...I'd hate to have to get him a mouth guard at 3!!!

This was a sad week...a couple at church lost their 2 month old baby on Tuesday. So sad. It has really made me appreciate even more, the fact that my children are (seemingly) healthy. This baby had a clean bill of health too...had just had his 2-month well baby check on Monday. From what I understand, at autopsy, the baby's heart was significantly enlarged and upon further examination, it was found that there was a heart valve that was not formed properly. Had the baby shown ANY symptoms prior to the sudden onset he had Tuesday, they could've done surgery to repair his valve. I'm sure this news was devastating to his family, but I'm glad they were able to find a cause of his death--his mother was a Labor & Delivery nurse at one time so I'm sure she was playing every scenario thru her head. But, this family has an EXTREME amount of Faith...no doubt that they KNOW God does things in HIS time and by HIS will. Something that we are not to question. They will be okay. I didn't get to go to the funeral, but it was told to me that the baby's parents wrote a letter to the congregation that was read by the pastor and that it stated that they had "learned to respect the Lord even more thru this death". If a family of such great Faith can LEARN from this experience, so can I!!!!

Okay, enough of the sad stuff. Took P back to the doc for a weight check--he stayed the exact same! But the doc is okay since he didn't LOSE any weight. While we were there, I saw the doc too. I woke up Thursday morning and absolutely couldn't hear out of my left ear. He took one look at my ear and said I had an ear infection. Really??!!?? LOL! He couldn't believe it didn't hurt! Which it only did when there was a change in pressure--like a yawn, or bending over--something like that. So, I've been on antibiotics for 3 days now and I STILL can't hear! I just wish this junk would break up so I didn't feel like I was in a tin can! Is it spring yet???

Oh I remember the teeth grinding. So not what you like to hear! Hopefully it wears off & they stop bothering him.

Are you ears any better today? Hopefully if they're not already, they get cleared out so you can hear again!
