I like this one okay...I feel like I'm in a design "rut" and keep doing the same thing over and over! I wanna have one of those "Eureka!" moments and do something that's really over the top!

I'm stalking...

The Memorable Seasons MB today...they will be announcing their new Design Team members today...maybe I'll be one of them! I don't wanna get my hopes up though...lots of tallent there! But what attracted me to the call was that the requirements of a DT member there are very doable for me! I wanna be on a DT, but I don't wanna stress over it either. We'll see later today I guess!

Same old, same old here...boys going to school, me playing on the computer or at my scrappy desk. We are getting our FREE carpet installed today! YAY! A comfier place in the basement for the boys to play! Got the carpet on CraigsList...it's used, but the boys are gonna destroy it probably anyway! LOL! I guess I'll be cleaning carpet later!

Took H & N to the dentist this morning. Nevan was the one I worried about and he was an angel for them! Harrison on the other hand pitched a major fit! Dr. Bill finally got him settled enough to take care of him. He's gotta go back in a month to get sealants put on his 6-year molars that are already in! We got a nice little prescription of VALIUM for that day! LOL! That's gonna be FUN-NY!!!!

I guess the most exciting thing going on around here is that Harrison started school last Wednesday! My baby's a kindergartener!!! Where have the past 5 years gone??? He seems to really like it and he really likes his teacher...hope this continues! I always loved school (well, for the most part!) and I hope he does too! Nevan will start preschool on Tuesday. Boy the mornings are gonna be QUIET!!!! YAY! And, I have the opportunity to take Pierson to MMO 2 days a week...will probably only take him one, but it's nice to know I could have 2 mornings free if I wanted them!

Well, actually, I think this is the most exciting thing...Mark's back to work! YAY! And he found out on Friday, that he's gonna be on 1st shift for a while...possibly up to a year!!!! That makes me really happy, because on 2nd, he was never gonna get to see H! He may be losing his shift pay, but he'll make that back in gas since he can now carpool with his buddy! We are definitely breathing sighs of relief!

I am having a ball playing with this and it's soooo much easier to see how different settings affect the pic when you can see the results immediately! I'm gonna play (hopefully next week) with my friend's new baby...maybe she'll be still for me! LOL!

just to remind me of when P got his 4th molar!!! Discovered the bottom right side molar yesterday! Now to get thru his eye teeth and we'll be done!

yep, that's me with my growing font collection on my 'puter!!! Some "friend" of mine told me that Scrap N Fonts was having a $1 sale...I didn't have to go check it out, but I did anyway. Somehow, there's now 56 fonts and doodlebats in my cart!!!! 56!!!!!!! So, I figured if I was gonna get in trouble, you may as well too!!! Go here and check it out!!! ALL 88 pages of $1 deals!!!!

Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!!

Well, we've known for about 2 weeks now that Mark is going back to work!!!! Freightliner is hiring back about 650 of the laid off workers and he was high enough on the totem pole to be called back! He starts tomorrow!!!! It's gonna be an adjustment getting used to him NOT being here again! Thank goodness the boys will start school soon!!!!

Speaking of school...got H's teacher assignment. Her name is Ms. Newell. Can't wait for SIL to get home today to see if she's been there or if she is replacing the teacher who retired. Here's a funny...when I told H his new teachers name was Ms. Newell, he replied, "I don't like Ms. NOODLE!!!" ROFL!!!! I corrected him and I PRAY he doesn't call her that when he gets to school! We have "Meet the Teacher" night on the 21st...may have to share the story with her! LOL!

I discovered that Pierson had finally cut his bottom right side molar a few days ago. One more molar to go and then eye teeth and he should be done!!! He's still not walking, but I'm not bothered! Not looking forward to chasing all 3 of them! LOL!

We went to the BEACH!!!! Yep! Took a MUCH needed vacation! After we found out that Mark was going back to work, we knew we didn't have much time and if we were gonna go, we had to go NOW! So we booked a room for 2 nights...ended up adding a night after we got there! The first night, the boys were sooooo excited! They were driving us NUTS! They wanted to do EVERYTHING right then! After the excited died down a bit the next day, they were great. H found a cool lizard at the Tanger Outlets...he was as green as a blade of grass on the cement, but when H got him, he changed to brown!!! I would have let him keep it, but we didn't have anything to put him in. He was really neat! Then one day on the beach, a guy had 2 crabs he had caught...one was as big as my hand!!! The boys were okay with them when the guy was holding them, but when he let them go and they started walking sideways, they were screaming! Found lots of sharks teeth too...Nevan actually found the biggest one and we think it's actually only HALF of one! I wish we were still there!
